The fireworks of solar cycle 25 continue, as seen in this Hα shot from July 2 featuring a filament at lower left and prominences leaping off the limb of the active Sun. The shot was taken with a 6-inch refractor fitted with an energy rejection filter and a Lunt etalon stacked with a Daystar Hα “eyepiece.”
